Office

Our institute is located in the Freihaus building of TU Vienna. In the red area take an elevator to the 6th floor. Then, turn right twice and ring the doorbell to enter the institute. Go straight ahead till the end of the corridor. The office of Ass. Prof. Andrej Pustogow is on your left hand side.

Travelling by air

Vienna International Airport is only 22 km/13 miles away and offers both domestic and international flights.
There are frequent CAT trains from the airport to Wien-Mitte station. Alternatively, Schnellbahn S7 runs daily operated by ÖBB.
From Wien-Mitte, take the subway line U4 for Hütteldorf and get off at Karlsplatz station. From here, you can easily reach our institute on foot (exit: Karlsplatz).
 

Travelling by rail

The nearest railway stations to our institute are:
- Wien-Mitte - Landstraße (2 km/1.2 miles)
- Wien Westbahnhof (2.6 km/1.6 miles)
- Wien Hauptbahnhof (2 km/1.2 miles)

Car parking on the streets in Vienna

Most streets in Vienna require parking permits. Short-term parking covers all districs around our institute: Monday to Friday from 9 am to 10 pm parking fees apply. Parking vouchers (German: Parkscheine) can be purchased at tobacconists, petrol stations, or cigarette machines.  

Car parking at Freihaus

There is an underground car park operated by WIPARK located at Freihaus and open 24/7. Drive in at Operngasse 13.
